I just finished reading Bailey Richards’s article in PEOPLE about Mike Love. Stamos’s Oct. 11 post says Love is “facing serious health challenges” and “insists on being on stage,” despite doctors, family, and friends urging him to focus on his health. Stamos said he had played with Love for 41 years; separately, he wrote that Love had brought joy through “more than 7,000 concerts.” The article says Stamos planned to perform with the Beach Boys that evening at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
